Are we supposed to rejoice at this fact?
Is it not quite shocking that hospital staff kept poor hygiene in the first place, causing the deaths of patients who entrusted them with their care?
Chelsea & Westminster hospital in Central London is one of the big offenders and the success of the hand-washing campaign will come as a cold comfort to the families of patients who have died unnecessarily and before their time.
