Jalupro is a sterile reabsorbable injectable solution which acts as a dermal bio-revitalizer that can be used for improving skin texture and minimizing the appearance of facial wrinkles. It is used as an adjuvant/enhancer in physical or chemicals treatments such as peeling, laser therapy, dermabrasion, radiofrequency, dermal filler, botulinum toxin, etc.
Jalupro is composed of two small bottles each containing lyophilized Amino Acids (Glycine, L-Proline, L-Leucine, L-Lysine) and two vials, each including Sodium Hyaluronate which must be mixed together with Amino Acids.
Jalupro Application:
To combat photo-aging and general aging of the face and body (light and medium degree)
To treat stretch marks
In preparation for, and enhancement/prolongation of results for different aesthetic procedures
PRE and POST surgery
Areas of application:
Face, Neck, Décolleté, Underarms, Hands, Inner thighs, Abdomen, Knee region
Injection techniques:
Jalupro is very versatile and can be combined with either mesotherapy or applied deeper with a cannula.
Micropapules, Linear, Fan shape, Grid shaped, mixed. A local anaesthetic can be associated – 0,5-1 ml of 2% procaine – in order to reduce the burning sensation that follows the injection. The needle has to be inserted along the wrinkle and then gradually retracted while releasing the product. After injection, if necessary, a light massage is applied in order to shape the treated zone.
For the correction of thin wrinkles, the recommended site for injection is, typically, the papillary/reticular dermis. It is important to inject a sufficient quantity of material to completely correct the defect.
In the event of deeper wrinkles or signs of aging, it is necessary to inject the material of the implant in the central part and deepest part of the reticular dermis for best results.
If required, this operation can be followed by a more superficial injection at the papillary level for completing the treatment.
Feeding the Fibroblasts with Amino Acids
The cells of the subcutaneous connective tissue in our skin are called fibroblasts. Fibroblasts act by forming collagen and repairing fragile and worn out skin, ensuring skin tone and elasticity. Fibroblasts’ activity reduces over time because of aging and/or other reasons, i.e., lifestyle habits (diet, smoking, intense physical activity, long exposure to the sun). As the skin ages, it loses tone, elasticity, brightness, volume, with wrinkles and furrows starting to appear.
Fibroblasts produce collagen by using a nutritional support: Amino Acids (Glycine, L-Proline, L-Lysine) which are essential to compensate for the reduced fibroblasts activity: the higher the Amino Acids quantity available in a particular area, the better the cells’ vitality and increase. The skin appearance improves greatly as a consequence.
The application of Jalupro reduces wrinkles significantly. The product has been further shown to have an excellent bio-revitalizing efficacy and to improve the main skin aging and photoaging signs. This efficacy grows over time and lasts 6 months. The treatment can be also applied before extensive sun exposure.
Jalupro’s tolerance has been excellent in all treated patients.
